英国大使館が 日本での低炭素社会促進のための投資ファンドを立ち上げ。対象事業を募集 (British Embassy)

（英国大使館の報道発表）：英大使館はプロスペリティ・ファンドの入札募集を開始した。同ファンドは英外務省が実施する事業基金で、持続可能な国際成長・発展と繁栄の促進が目的。昨年度まで展開した「低炭素高成長経済促進のための戦略プログラムファンド」（LCHG SPF）の実績に基づいて実施し、貿易・投資の拡大、市場の開放、資源へのアクセス確保、持続可能な成長の促進により、英外務省の優先課題の一つ「英国の繁栄 （build British Prosperity）」の実行を直接支援する事業プロジェクトへ提供される。
(英国大使館のPress release）: 日本はプロスペリティ・ファンドを優先的に展開する14の国・地域のうちのひとつとして予算を割り当てられています。日本における同プログラムでは、気候変動、エネルギー、経済改革分野での日本政府の政策立案の支援を目的としています。市場の開放と多国間貿易システムを支える、持続可能かつ繁栄的経済の創出への具体的な日本の貢献を発掘し、援助する機会を探究します。さらに、健全、持続可能で均衡のとれた、低炭素成長を支える経済政策の促進も目標としています。

The British Embassy would like to inform you on the Prosperity Fund.
The Prosperity Fund is an FCO programme fund that will focus on promoting sustainable global growth and, in particular, will be consistent with the UK’s development objectives of promoting sustainable development and improving welfare. It builds on the achievements of the previous Low Carbon High Growth (LCHG) Strategic Programme Fund (SPF), and directly supports our implementation of Foreign Policy Priority: to build Britain’s prosperity by increasing exports and investment, opening markets, ensuring access to resources, and promoting sustainable global growth.
Japan is one of the 14 priority countries/groups which are directly eligible for programme funding. In Japan, the prosperity programme exists to support the Government of Japan’s policy making areas in the areas of climate change, energy and economic reform. It seeks targeted opportunities to identify and support specific Japanese contributions to address challenges in developing a sustainable and prosperous economy supportive of an open, multilateral trading system. Furthermore it aims to promote economic policies that underpin strong, sustainable, balanced and low carbon growth.
For detail of the 2nd bidding round, please read the Embassy’ website page below. The deadline for the bids are August 1.

It would be very helpful if you could email your ideas to the Prosperity Fund manager andrew.price2@fco.gov.uk in the first instance. The Prosperity Fund manager will provide feedback whether your idea is suitable to be developed in to a formal concept bid and may arrange a separate meetings to help develop your idea.
